ScanJet 6200C/­Cse/­Cxi/­6250C/­Cse/­Cxi Scanning Coach Update for HP Scanjet 6200cse HP ScanJet 6200C/­6250C Families Scanning Coach Update You may have seen the HP PrecisionScan Pro software error message - Sorry,­ can't find registry entry -appear when using the HP Scanning Software.­ This program will update your software and correct the problem.­ The error message appears when you have either executed the scanning software for the first time from a user account other than the one who installed,­ or if you try to access the HP Scanning Coach from the Help menu from a different user account than the one that installed.­ NOTE: The HP Scanning Coach is a utility included on the HP PrecisionScan Pro software package that provides you with a wizard style help for the scanner software.­ It automatically executes the first time HP PrecisionScan Pro is used and can be accessed thereafter through the Help menu.­ Manual Installation Instructions: Choose the file you want to download to your system.­ With your mouse,­ click on the file.­ You will now be prompted to select the folder (sub-directory) where the download will be placed on your hard disk.­ (Example: If you wanted to download to your C:TEMP you would select that folder from the list of folders in the download "Save As" screen.­) Now open the C:Temp folder (if that was your selected folder),­ and double-click on the file you downloaded.­ This file will decompress into a default folder c:sj275psc,­ or any folder of your choice.­ You will find the SETUP.­EXE file in the c:sj275psc folder,­ or the folder that you chose.­ Double-click the SETUP.­EXE file to activate the software installation.­ Compatible devices: C6272A
